A list

of things that are going on since I'm not feeling terribly verbose today.

1. Matilda has been meowing for large, continuous periods of time while simultaneously scratching the glass on the doors to our porch. Seriously, it wakes me up at odd hours of the morning and Jeremy's co-workers have overheard it through his office phone. Anyone want a cute (sure, vocal and destructive) cat?

2. I'm going to NH to help watch my parents' two new puppies while they go to Tanglewood to see Garrison Keillor (our anniversary present to them).

3. I erged over 4k yesterday and my back is SORE, but in a way I really appreciate it because it actually makes me feel like I did something.

4. I finished an delivered baby quilt #3 today, and now it's off to numbers 4-8

5. I chose really cool paint colors for a few rooms in our apartment, but I've hit a wall in my motivation. Painting trim, especially on french doors, can really be a soul killer.

6. My wisdom teeth are scheduled to come out on Tuesday. Eek. Not having had a lot of experience with medical procedures to date, I'm hoping I don't have any as of yet unknown medication allergies that are going to rear their ugly heads.

7. We went to Long Island this past weekend to visit Vanessa and Nathan and had a glorious time. I think their dog, Bailey, might be Quincy's new girlfriend.

8. I've dropped the "song of the day" ball earlier than I would have expected. I'm going to reduce the pressure and now call it "song of the whenever the hell I feel like it". Today's song? Just because I feel like it, it always makes me happy, and I listened to it on a super high volume while making an awesome orzo salad: "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison.
