Unbelievably, I've already reached the end of the summer travel season, and this weekend brings the final (planned) trip of seven straight weekends of trips. The last one is the farthest, all the way to Arizona for my brother's white coat ceremony. It's just me going (too expensive to fly both of us out), and I will meet my parents and sister out there. It will be wonderful to see my brother's ceremony and the family all together one more time (unheard of, really), and maybe I'll even be able to convince a few people to go for a desert hike? No?
So here's wishing me luck with the flights and the heat. I'm hoping to return on Sunday to an abundance of cucumbers in my garden.
