I've mentioned it before, but here in this house, we are truly obsessed with Aaron Sorkin. Recently, we re-watched the entire first season of The West Wing, and immediately were so embroiled in suspense (though we already have seen the entire series) that we immediately ordered the second season (because it's the best, and it's the only one we don't own).
And then, for our anniversary, Jeremy bought us the entire series of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, another wonderful, though short-lived, Sorkin series, starring many West Wing alums and just as snappy in dialogue.
Perhaps "obsessed" is not quite the right term, so much as "we bow at the throne of Aaron Sorkin." The only problem is that these shows make me feel a bit like an intellectual midget, because I certainly can't think or speak as quickly as any of these characters. Ah well, it gives me something to live up to.
