since it's summer...

On Wednesday, I finished the last of my required tasks for the school year, and thus began my summer vacation.

So, even though it was rainy and cold on Wednesday (actually, I love rainy days...shhh), I thought it was time for some summer-like activities. When you live in a dorm like we do, and surrounded by teenagers 24/7, summer-like activities involve not so much warm weather things as things we can't do with the kids here. Like play loud music. Like sing along with said music. Stuff like that.

So, I put on some music, like this song. (Play it - it's cheesy, but you'll love it. And is it just me, or does it make you feel like tap dancing?). And I danced around the kitchen and scared my dog. I blame my mother for the kitchen-dancing gene.

And since I had some rhubarb and strawberries on hand, and since it is summer vacation, I made this:
